Proman and DeNovo celebrate one year of natural gas production

Proman is proud to celebrate 1 year of natural gas production by DeNovo Energy Limited, part of the Proman family of companies. 

Proman is the first and only company to support increased natural gas production in Trinidad and Tobago by investing in a local start-up independent upstream operator.

Since natural gas production started in November 2018, DeNovo have safely and consistently delivered 80 million standard cubic feet of gas per day to the petrochemical plants on the Point Lisas Estate.

The DeNovo Gas Processing Unit stands testament to the innovation and complementary skills within the Proman family of companies, having been designed by our subsidiary Eurotecnica S.P.A. in Italy, constructed by Proman Engineering and Construction in Trinidad and Tobago, and supported in commissioning and operations by the 100% local and industry-leading technical teams within Proman Operations.

As a long-standing player in Trinidad and Tobago’s energy landscape of over thirty years’ standing, Proman continues to enable the development of local content and capabilities. The recent amalgamation between Industrial Plant Services limited (IPSL) and Proman AG (Trinidad) Limited to form one Proman company has brought undeniable benefits by further promoting structural and operational excellence across our business.
