Position Overview
As part of our Growth strategy, the Proman Portugal office is currently strengthening its team by looking for an Automation Commissioning Engineer to support our current global projects. Committed to decarbonization, our growth aims to deliver large-scale, low-carbon industrial projects.
Candidate will be integrated into the EPC Team as part of Proman E&C division and will be based in Sweden.
Responsibilities

Planner, executer and manager the commissioning and start-up of automation and control systems in industrial plant projects.

Ensure that all control systems (PLC, DCS, SCADA, instrumentation, and interfaces) are properly installed, tested, integrated, and brought into operation safely and efficiently, in accordance with project specifications and operational requirements.

Ensure proper segregation and handover of systems from construction to commissioning.

Review engineering documentation, including control philosophies, I/O lists, cause & effect matrices, and functional design specifications (FDS).

Diagnose and resolve issues related to hardware, software, communication networks and field devices, ensuring the proper coordination and management of vendors, suppliers and third parties.

Efficiently coordinate commissioning teams and activities, whether they involve internal teams, integrated with Client Operations or subcontractors.

Ensure that the Project Quality Plan is properly implemented and maintained and ensure that Health, Safety & Environment is given the highest priority.

Qualifications & Experience

Bachelor’s degree in electronics, industrial automation or a related field.

Minimum 8 years’ experience in managing construction works for industrial projects, specific experience in petrochemical projects being highly valued.

Preferred industry experience in power, heavy industrial, gas separation, oil/natural gas, or process facilities, pipelines, with a specialization in methanol and ammonia being highly valued.

Previous experience in managing construction projects is strongly preffered.
