Proman was founded in Düsseldorf in 1984 as a project management and construction services company. Today, the Düsseldorf office remains a central pillar of the Group’s global operations and serves as Proman’s Centre of Excellence (CoE) for ammonia and methanol engineering, as well as procurement and plant support.
With a strong track record in delivering major projects and supporting the optimisation and continuous improvement of Proman’s production assets, the Düsseldorf team plays a critical role in developing and sustaining the Group’s asset base. Its expertise spans complex project delivery and the coordination of multidisciplinary workstreams across the full project lifecycle.
Proman Germany provides engineering, procurement and project execution capabilities across the gas processing, petrochemical, steel, infrastructure and automotive sectors. Its core competencies include process engineering, feasibility studies and procurement, supporting construction, commissioning and ongoing operations optimisation. Proman Germany is certified to ISO 9001:2015, ISO 45001:2018, ISO 14001:2015 and ISO 27001:2013, reflecting the Group’s strong culture of health, safety, environment and operational excellence.
